Therapy as a calling, not just a credential
Before I became a therapist, I spent five years in congregational ministry. I came to understand this work as a kind of ministry too — sitting with people in their grief, their doubt, and their searching, and trusting that something meaningful can happen in that space.
I hold a Master of Divinity and a Master's in Counseling Psychology, and I've been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 2014. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship pain, faith transitions, and the kinds of questions that don't fit neatly into a diagnostic category.
My own roots are in the Christian tradition, but I welcome clients of any background — or none at all. Whether you're deeply rooted in a faith, in the middle of leaving one, spiritually curious, or simply open to exploring the bigger questions of your life, there's room for that here.
